Job Summary
The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for developing new customer sales and managing existing customer relationships to facilitate the growth and profitability of the company. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as technical expertise in manufacturing and/or engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business and maintain relationships with assigned customers
- Negotiate pricing and other commercial/contract issues
- Develop strategies for customer management and monitoring major customer issues
- Identify and penetrate customers within defined market strategy
- Manage quotation process by qualifying new opportunities and prospects
- Participate in new product launches and support corporate sales objectives
Requirements
- College degree; undergraduate mechanical engineering degree or MBA preferred
- Minimum 5 years in sales role for a metal stamping or metal forming company
- Strong sales and marketing experience, technical expertise, and project management skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
