Precision Security Team is a veteran owned and operated company in the northern Colorado area. We service areas from Denver, CO to Cheyenne, WY. In operation since 2018, we have grown exponentially, being entrusted with many local government contracts, other critical sites, schools, patrol, events, etc. We pride ourselves with hiring veterans, previous law enforcement, and first responders. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Precision Security Team, you will assist with all security-related concerns and other requests as needed to ensure a safe environment for the public at your assigned site. Every Security Officer at Precision Security Team owns the client's experience and their bottom line. It is of the utmost importance to uphold Precision Security Team’s professional image to the client, the public, and law enforcement at all times. It is imperative that you practice and demonstrate Precision Security Team’s core values and code of conduct everyday.
Upon hire, your schedule would be 3:00 pm-3:00 am Monday-Wednesday and 3:00 pm-9:00 pm Thursday for a total of 42 hours. Please do not apply if this does not work with your availability or you are not willing to work the posted hours. Holidays are required if they fall on one of these days.
5 Critical Roles of the Position:
- Respond to Security Concerns: Address all security-related issues and respond promptly to other requests as needed to uphold a safe and secure environment for patrons, staff, and visitors.
- Access Control: Restrict entry to unauthorized individuals by employing de-escalation techniques and using only the minimum force necessary to maintain safety.
- Facility Patrols: Conduct routine patrols of the premises on foot and in a marked security vehicle, thoroughly inspecting doors, windows, and other access points to ensure they are secured. Report and mitigate visible hazards such as leaks or other maintenance concerns.
- Monitoring Systems: Operate and maintain vigilance through an access-control monitoring system to oversee campus activity and ensure adherence to entry protocols.
- Emergency Assistance: Be prepared to provide critical support to staff, administrative personnel, and emergency responders during crises, including medical emergencies, evacuations, and other urgent situations.
Precision Security Team or the client can assign other duties to you as necessary at any time.
Basic Qualifications:
- Driving Standards: Must meet motor vehicle report (MVR) criteria and comply with vehicle insurance requirements to operate company or vehicle.
- Physical Endurance: Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods while patrolling or monitoring the premises.
- Independent Work: Comfort with working alone while maintaining vigilance and professionalism.
- Experience with Vulnerable Populations: Prior experience interacting with unhoused individuals is highly desirable, including the ability to manage such interactions respectfully and effectively.
- Bar Environment Familiarity: Previous experience working in or securing bar environments is preferred, emphasizing skills in conflict de-escalation and customer service in dynamic settings.

Pay: This W2 position pays $20.25/hour. Employees working 30 or more hours a week are eligible for health benefits such as health, vision, dental, life, and accident insurance. Colorado is an at-will employment state.
