Precision Tools Service, Inc is looking for an IT associate for their Corporate Office, located in Columbus, IN.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
- Support IT issues through IT help desk
- Basic user support on common systems (such as Microsoft office)
- Hardware troubleshooting and replacement
- Work with other members of IT to provide solutions to user issues
- Keep staff up to date with local and system changes
- Desktop/Laptop setup, configuration, support and distribution
- Maintain networking and IT infrastructure upkeep, including but not limited to routers, servers, and switches
- Participate in miscellaneous IT projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, A Certification a plus
- Experience with networking and IT infrastructure equipment preferred
- Help desk experience with knowledge of computer and peripheral set up is preferred
- Good verbal and written communication
- Fast learner and willingness to learn
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to travel when needed.
