Tow Truck Operator

Precision Towing LLC is seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with and independently performing towing and roadside assistance services. Your role will involve helping ensure vehicles are transported safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. If you possess excellent driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and are tech-savvy, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with towing and roadside service operations, including loading and unloading vehicles onto the tow truck.
• Operate a tow truck when required to transport vehicles to designated locations safely.
• Provide roadside assistance services, such as jump-starts, lockouts, and tire changes.
• Use mobile apps and software to log jobs, track progress, and process payments.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Deliver excellent customer service by assisting customers with their roadside needs.
• Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to assess conditions when needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all services provided.
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during operations.
• Help with maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of tow trucks through routine inspections.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (a commercial driver's license (CDL) is nice but not required).
• Previous experience in light-duty towing or roadside assistance is preferred but not required (training available for the right candidate).
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot common vehicle issues.
• Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles.
• Comfortable using mobile apps and technology for job tracking and payments.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work morning and afternoon shifts, with the potential for additional hours or full-time opportunities based on performance.

Compensation:

• $19/hour.
• Opportunity for commission-based full-time work.
