Main Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair brake and hydraulic, exhaust, basic electrical, cooling system, suspension, and alignment issues.
- Perform maintenance services and job duties similar to those of General Service Technicians.
- Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
- Stay updated on rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous learning.
- Assist fellow technicians and mechanics with technical activities.
- Maintain open communication with store management regarding mechanical repair problems.
- Ensure a clean and organized shop environment.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, safety, and environmental rules.
Requirements
We seek candidates who embody a team-first mentality, collaboration, and high motivation. To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- 6 months of automotive mechanical problem-solving and repair experience.
- Section 609 Certification (PREFERRED).
- State Inspection license if applicable.
- High level of motivation, energy, and customer-focused attitude.
- A valid driver's license.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
- Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
