We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Benefits Specialist with a strong emphasis on employee benefits. This role will be responsible for administering and optimizing our total rewards programs, with a primary focus on benefits, while also supporting wellness, and recognition initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in benefits administration, compliance, and employee engagement, ensuring that our programs remain competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration:
- Manage the day-to-day administration of health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related inquiries, claims, and escalations.
- Conduct benefits orientations and assist with open enrollment processes.
- Work with brokers, vendors, and carriers to ensure smooth administration and resolution of issues.
- Maintain accurate benefits records and process employee changes in HRIS and vendor systems.
- Assist in providing year-round training and education about company benefit plans and programs.
Wellness & Employee Recognition Programs:
- Assist in developing and promoting wellness initiatives to enhance employee well-being.
- Support employee recognition programs and engagement strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration, total rewards, or HR generalist roles with a focus on benefits.
- Strong knowledge of benefits programs, compliance requirements, and best practices.
- Experience working with HRIS and benefits administration platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.
