Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to support a variety of administrative and compliance-related tasks within our Human Resources department. This role will be responsible for handling employee verifications, processing family court orders and subpoena requests, ensuring compliance with company policies, and assisting with unemployment claims across multiple states. The HR Generalist will also act as a key liaison between HR, administration, and other departments to support HR administrative needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative & Compliance Support:
- Process employee verifications, court orders, and subpoena requests in a timely and confidential manner.
- Ensure company policies are up to date, distributed, and signed off on by employees.
- Maintain HR records and documentation in compliance with legal and company standards.
Unemployment Claims Management:
- Manage and respond to unemployment claims across multiple states.
- Work with state agencies to ensure compliance with unemployment regulations.
- Provide necessary documentation to support claims as needed.
HR Administrative Support & Liaison Duties:
- Serve as a liaison between HR, administration, and other departments to ensure smooth communication and support.
- Assist with HR administrative needs, including document management, record-keeping, and data entry.
- Provide guidance to administrative staff on HR-related procedures and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of HR experience, preferably in an administrative or generalist role.
- Strong understanding of HR compliance, including employee verifications, legal requests, and policy distribution.
- Experience managing unemployment claims across multiple states is required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and document management tools.
- Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements across various states.
