Reports to: Quality Manager
Summary of Position:
Assists the Quality Team by performing inspections against a broad range of technical specifications, reviewing internal and external documentation for accuracy and compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Inspects incoming materials by confirming content and conformity of shipments, comparing against established specifications, and by conducting various visual and technical measurement tests.
- Follows strict procedures to perform In-Process and Finished Good Inspections on company products and shipments.
- Maintains the company’s Device Calibration Log and handles the collection and calibration of items as they come due.
- Assists in maintaining various Quality Processes and Projects, ensuring that the Production process meets the Quality Specifications of the Company and the customer.
- Performs all other duties as required to meet the company’s goals and objectives.
Education and Training Requirements:
- Minimum level of education: High School Diploma. Trade school and related certifications preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years in a manufacturing setting with inspection/test related duties preferred.
- Must have excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate proficiency of basic computer systems including Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
- Must have the ability to read and understand various technical documents including schematics, work instructions and procedures, technical specifications, and compliance documents.
