Preco is hiring a Full-Time Rotary Technician in Somerset, WI.
The Rotary Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining our rotary converting presses. This role is critical to our production process of producing parts using laser systems, assuring maximum safety and efficiency, and inspect parts to verify conformance to customer specifications. This roles requires a strong understanding of printing and converting processes, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Preco is a leading designer and manufacturer of precision automated processing systems for high-speed and high-accuracy cutting, perforating, welding, and other specialized industrial processing applications. With our proprietary die cutting and laser-based manufacturing capabilities, Preco has also become one of the largest contract manufacturing service (CMS) providers in North America.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate on custom designed, standard laser machinery to process material or parts in accordance with customer specifications.
- Perform quality inspections of finished parts.
- Starting and shutting down machinery using written work instructions.
- Able to shut down machinery in the event of safety issue.
- Change gas cylinders and perform table maintenance as directed.
- Package and route parts to shipping.
- Perform cleanup duties as required.
- Complete required paperwork.
- Occasionally required to drive and operate a forklift.
- Participate in training programs to stay up-to-date on new technologies and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Various other duties as directed by Supervisor.
