Minimum Job Requirements for HR/Payroll, AP/AR, and Contract Clerk Positions:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional certification or degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field is a plus.
Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in HR, payroll, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), or contract administration, preferably in an automotive or dealership setting.
Software Knowledge: Experience with dealership management software (e.g., Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK) is highly desirable.
Payroll & HR: Basic understanding of payroll processing, tax filings, HR compliance, and employment laws.
AP/AR Knowledge: Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoicing, payment processing, collections, and account reconciliations.
Contract Documentation: Ability to review, process, and manage contract documentation accurately and efficiently.
Technical Skills: Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with accounting or payroll software.
Accounting Basics: Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reports.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with employees, vendors, and customers.
Professionalism & Confidentiality: Ability to maintain professionalism and handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality at all times.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail in data entry, payroll, billing, and contract documentation.
Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain clear, up-to-date records in a fast-paced environment.
