looking for Technical analyst with hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 administration—specifically tailored to the Government Community Cloud (GCC) environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor M365 product updates in the GCC environment.
- Analyze the impact of changes to the SOM (State of Michigan) tenant.
- Recommend configurations aligned with SOM policies, standards, and licensing.
- Create technical documentation for internal use and end-user training.
- Participate in working sessions with both the SOM M365 team and Microsoft.
🔹 Key Skills & Experience:
M365 Suite Expertise (admin/configure):
- SharePoint Online
- Teams
- Planner
- OneDrive
- Outlook
- Forms, Loop, Viva Engage, etc.
GCC Environment Experience:
- Understanding of compliance and configuration nuances in GCC (I Government Community Cloud (GCC) vs Commercial M365.
Change Analysis:
- Ability to track, evaluate, and report the impact of M365 updates on an enterprise tenant.
Documentation & Communication:
- Create decision support documents, job aids, and technical write-ups.
- Communicate clearly with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Content Creation & Management:
- Hands-on experience using SharePoint and Teams for collaboration and documentation.
General Microsoft Productivity Tools:
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
