Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cosmetology Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for educating and training aspiring cosmetologists in various techniques and practices. Your expertise in hair coloring, hair styling, nail care, and other cosmetology skills will help shape the next generation of professionals in the beauty industry. You will create a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and fosters skill development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans covering various aspects of cosmetology, including hair coloring, hair styling, nail care, eyelash extensions, and deep tissue massage.
• Educate students on the latest trends, techniques, and safety practices within the beauty industry.
• Conduct hands-on demonstrations to illustrate techniques such as hair threading and dermabrasion.
• Assess student performance through practical evaluations and written tests to ensure understanding of course material.
• Maintain a well-organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to promote their growth and confidence in their skills.
• Stay updated on industry standards and advancements to enhance curriculum content.

Experience

• Previous experience as a cosmetologist with expertise in hair coloring, hair styling, nail care, eyelash extensions, deep tissue massage, and other relevant skills is essential.
• Prior experience in adult education or teaching is preferred but not required; a passion for educating others is crucial.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively in both classroom settings and practical demonstrations.
• A valid cosmetology license is required to ensure compliance with state regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.75 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
