Location and hours: 40 Christopher Way, Eatontown Monday through Thursday 9am - 2pm
848 West Bay Avenue, Barnegat Tuesday through Thursday 9am - 3pm
Job Description/Summary
The SUS Admin Assistant is responsible for provides front desk support for substance use services. There are two positions open one in Barnegat, NJ and one in Eatontown, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Ability to conduct drug screenings
- Courteously greets consumers and visitors, determines their needs and directs them accordingly, while maintaining confidentiality.
- Schedules intake appointments and confirms appointments one day in advance.
- Enters information in point of entry for clients who contact this agency.
- Assists staff with typing letters, copying documents correspondence and mailings
Competencies
- Proficiently communicates - written and verbal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must display a professional appearance and proper telephone etiquette.
Pre- and Post-Employment Screening/Testing/Examinations:
- Candidates for this position must submit to a criminal history check, supported by fingerprinting, prior to employment.
- Candidates for this position must submit to drug and alcohol screening prior to employment, and in accordance with PBHG policy, thereafter.
- Employee must obtain a physical exam prior to start date, and every three years, thereafter.
- Employee must submit to Mantoux/TB testing prior to start date, and TB Symptom Assessment form annually, thereafter.
- Produce proof of Rubeola and Rubella
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Some previous medical office or related healthcare administrative experience preferred.
