Job Description:
As a Transportation Aide, you will play a critical role in supporting our residents who are unable to travel independently. You will accompany residents to various appointments, including medical visits, therapy sessions, and other necessary outings, ensuring their well-being and safety throughout the journey.
Transportation Aide Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport residents to and from scheduled appointments.
Provide assistance with boarding and disembarking from transportation vehicles.
Ensure residents' comfort and safety during transportation.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
Assist with any mobility needs or equipment, such as wheelchairs or walkers.
Follow facility guidelines and protocols for patient transport and safety.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with residents and their families.
Transportation Aide Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a healthcare or transportation-related role is a plus, but not required.
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered attitude.
Ability to lift and assist residents with mobility, as needed.
Ability to pass background check
