As a Transportation Aide, you will play a critical role in supporting our residents who are unable to travel independently. Transportation Aide Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport residents to and from scheduled appointments.
- Provide assistance with boarding and disembarking from transportation vehicles.
- Ensure residents' comfort and safety during transportation.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Assist with any mobility needs or equipment, such as wheelchairs or walkers.
- Follow facility guidelines and protocols for patient transport and safety.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with residents and their families.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or transportation-related role is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered attitude.
- Ability to lift and assist residents with mobility, as needed.
- Ability to pass background check
