RN/LPN Unit Manager/Skilled Nursing Facility

Adira Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dynamic professional to join us as a Unit Manager. A Unit Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient unit operations. This position combines clinical expertise with leadership and administrative responsibilities. while ensuring that residents receive compassionate, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Oversight: Manage daily patient care activities, ensuring adherence to care plans and regulatory standards
• Staff Supervision: Lead and mentor nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, fostering professional development and ensuring optimal performance.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the unit meets all federal and state healthcare regulations, as well as facility policies.
• Family Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between residents, their families, and the healthcare team, addressing concerns and facilitating care discussions.
• Administrative Duties: Oversee documentation, manage budgets, and participate in hiring and training processes, and other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan OR (LPN) Licensed Practical Nurse
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
