Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Oversight: Manage daily patient care activities, ensuring adherence to care plans and regulatory standards
- Staff Supervision: Lead and mentor nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, fostering professional development and ensuring optimal performance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the unit meets all federal and state healthcare regulations, as well as facility policies.
- Family Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between residents, their families, and the healthcare team, addressing concerns and facilitating care discussions.
- Administrative Duties: Oversee documentation, manage budgets, and participate in hiring and training processes, and other duties as assigned.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan OR (LPN) Licensed Practical Nurse
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
