What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver- Direct Care Workers Urgently Needed position at Preferred Care Home of Tucson?
Preferred Care at Home is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers, who are DCW certified, to provide personal care services for our senior clients in Phoenix and the SURROUNDING AREAS. This is a variable hourly, in home position. As a caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly wage starting at $17.00 an hour, paid bi-weekly

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to include assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting (incontinence care) and transfers
- Meal preparation and ensuring dietary requirements are met
- Help with medication reminders
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior
Requirements:
- In Person CPR and First Aid (we can help you to get at no cost)
- Current Negative TB Result (we can help you to get at no cost)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Previous experience as a caregiver (minimum 1 year)
