Preferred Home Care of New York, a fully licensed Home Care Agency serving the NY Metropolitan area including Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester counties, is seeking an experienced , Authorization Specialist for our Brooklyn Corporate Office who is a strong communicator, pays extremes attention to detail and is committed to continuously acquire new skills.

REQUIREMENTS :
- Prior experience working with health care authorizations
- Prior Home Care Experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be well organized and able to multi task
- Excellent time management
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to accept direction and perform given assignments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to define problems and tasks, collect data and establish facts, take action and facilitate resolve
