2nd Shift Powder Coat-Load/Unload

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Powder Coat Member to join our team. As a Powder Coat member, you will be responsible for working with a team of co- workers in the powder coating process ensuring the highest quality finishes on our products. This is a hands-on role and is Team Driven.

Responsibilities:
-Load parts on Racks using hooks and bars

-Unload parts and package per standards

-Inspect coated parts for quality

-Packaging and separation skills and experience is preferred

- Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking

- Pre-hanging / Plug and Masking parts for Density and Productivity

- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or repairs

Responsibilities may include:

-Set up and operate powder coating equipment
- Apply powder coating using airless paint spraying techniques
- Monitor and adjust equipment settings to achieve desired coating thickness and appearance
- Train and supervise a team of powder coat technicians
- Maintain inventory of powder coating materials and supplies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient production flow

Requirements:
- Previous experience in powder coating or auto painting is preferred
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes
- Proficiency in materials handling, including operating cranes or other lifting equipment
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material quantities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

- Ability to work with a team of people during the same process
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
