We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating laser cutting machines, fabricating metal components, and reading blueprints. This role is critical to the production process, and the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring high-quality output while maintaining safety standards.
**Duties:**
- Operate laser cutting machines to fabricate metal components according to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand the details of each project.
- Use hand tools, milling machines, and precision measuring instruments to verify the accuracy of the laser cutting process.
- Ensure that all components meet the required specifications and standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser cutting machines and other equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Collaborate with other production team members to meet production deadlines and targets.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all products meet the required standards.
- Continuously improve production processes and techniques to enhance efficiency and productivity.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a Laser Operator or in a related field.
- Strong understanding of laser cutting technology.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of hand tools and their applications in the production process.
- Ability to operate crane and other heavy machinery.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet production deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
