TENETIVE START DATE FOR THIS POSITION WILL BE APRIL 1, 2024.
This is completely dependent on the weather; the position may start a little before or after this date.
We are seeking an Asphalt Paver Operator. This is a vital role in which you will be responsible for mainly operating the paving machine. Spreading and leveling hot mix asphalt on various projects all over Northern UT.
Responsibilities:
- Operating the paver on roads, highways, and parking lots to achieve the desired thickness and width for each project
- Maintaining proper grade with various tools and processes
- Performing pre-shift inspections of all equipment
- Follow all safety procedures
- Any other duties assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with paving, grade, and or asphalt
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle physical workload & lift up to 60 lbs.
- Strong work ethic & good attitude
- Willing to work long hours during paving season
