What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Specialist position at Preferred Payroll Services?
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end experience of our clients, across our payroll services. She/he will maintain an ongoing book of clients, while working with the entire Payroll and Accounting team to make sure all client needs are met. By partnering across Preferred Payroll Services internal teams, she/he will ensure all clients are more than satisfied in their end-to-end experience. This is an essential position within our firm as regular contact is made with the client and overall client satisfaction is dependent on the care The Payroll Specialist will provide.
Job Duties will include communication with our client via phone, email, or fax and helping to set up and input payroll information for respective client. The Payroll Specialist will also be responsible for navigating the software we use and assisting the tax department in preparing payroll tax returns.
Data entry experience is key but payroll experience is not necessary. Will train on site.

During summer months Monday-Thursday work schedule is in effect with Fridays off paid.
