What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clerical Assistant position at Preferred Risk Insurance?
The Clerical Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Corporate Communications Department with day-to-day operations as well as working directly with the Print and Mail teams.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
- Maintains inventory of office supplies and submits orders of new materials as needed to appropriate personnel
- Partner with Claims department to review and remit letters to insureds and law firms as they relate to addressing claims
- Manage high volume of email requests to proofread, print and mail claims letters with concerted attention to detail
- Exercise astute knowledge creating and remitting proper business mailing
- Implement style guidelines to produce or edit form letters for professional representation of the company and its brand
- Process expense items and remit to accounting department for reconciliation
- Support mail center and print shop with bindery and folding projects
- Contributes to the overall team effort and goals
- Assists with special projects or miscellaneous duties as needed
