GA-PreK Lead Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lead GA Pre-K Teacher to lead our team at PreK Preparatory Learning Academy in Gainesville GA. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for young children in the 2025-2026 school year.

Lead GA Pre-K Teacher MUST have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.

The lead teacher is responsible for all aspects of care and education for the children enrolled in his/her class. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: lesson plans, age-appropriate activities, implementing Quality Rated rules and regulations, physical caregiver, developmental assessments, following an age-appropriate curricular plan, maintaining a clean, safe, and structured classroom environment.

Additional Responsibilities may include:

- Implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum

- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for preschool-aged children

- Manage classroom activities and promote learning

- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure developmental milestones are met

- Collaborate with parents to support each child's individual needs

- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to create a positive learning environment

Experience:

- Previous experience in preschool, toddler care, or daycare settings

- Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development

- Ability to educate and engage young children in learning activities

- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages

Compensation is competitive and based on the Georgia Pre-K salary requirements. For the Lead Teacher, salary is dependent on credential levels and years of teaching experience.
