What are the responsibilities and job description for the Back of House position at Prelude Breakfast Bar, llc?
We are looking for team members that bring a positive attitude and a willingness to live up to the high standards we hold for all of our team members. This is a technique driven scratch kitchen, and we pride ourselves on quick ticket times and consistent high quality food.
Pay Structure:
Every ticket has 6% service charge on it as well as a tip line. The Kitchen Surcharge only goes towards all kitchen staff on top of their hourly pay (which is based on experience, longevity, quality of work, and attitude). Pay will generally land between $16 and $20 for hourly staff.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing recipes and products with consistency and quality
- Working the line and preparing our delicious food with intention
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment
- Ensure food safety standards are met at all times
- Communicating with all staff
- Follow proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
Experience:
- At least 1 year in kitchen work is required
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
