We are seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to work on a PRN basis. We are looking for an experienced Sonographer who actively supports and promotes our commitment to providing compassionate, comprehensive, state-of-the-art fertility care. Candidates should be passionate about working with a team and providing great customer service.
The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for the daily performance of diagnostic ultrasounds. The sonographer must perform high quality scans and be able to adequately meet the needs of the physicians and the department.
HOURS : As Needed, Monday - Friday. Weekend and holiday rotation will be required.
LOCATIONS : based in Marietta, with Travel As Needed to : Sandy Springs, Canton, Piedmont, and Cumming.
Responsibilities :
- Preparing for diagnostic tests
- Set up ultrasound machine for diagnostic test
- View patient chart for previous studies and pertinent information
- Input appropriate charges ensuring medical necessity
- Ensure physician needs are met to increase resource utilization
- Ensure protocols and standards are up to date for accreditation
- Perform diagnostic tests in a timely manner
- Explain procedures
- Perform appropriate ultrasound procedure
- Assess need for additional follow up exams
- Notify ordering physician of abnormal exams before patient leaves the office
- Ensure documentation is obtained
- Provide superior service to ensure customer satisfaction to both patients and providers
- Ensure Customer Satisfaction, call patients by name and check date of birth
