Overview
We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Manager/ content creator to join our dynamic team In the world of youth sports. We organize basketball tournaments.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and audience engagement techniques.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging content across various platforms including Instagram, Twitter, and tiktok.
- Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends and audience preferences.
- Manage day-to-day social media activities including posting, monitoring, and responding to comments.
- Collaborate with videographers and photographers to produce high-quality visuals.
- Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly
- Proofread all content for accuracy and clarity before publication.
Requirements
- Ability to conduct player and coach interviews.
- Proven experience in social media management or related field.
- Strong skills in content creation, including photography and graphic design.
- Increased pay for experience in videography and editing
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and Google Analytics.
- Excellent research skills to identify trends and insights relevant to our audience.
- Ability to create compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of public relations principles is a plus.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Available to work most weekends I'm the spring and summer as well as remote work Monday - Friday.
