Description
The Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting Energy operations by performing a variety of duties for assigned locations. This includes answering phones, working with customers, setting up and updating customer tank files, and working with multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
- Create tank files in Agvantage Edge
- Ensures accurate account/tank maintenance and updating account information
- Filing/Scanning documents
- Send emails and letters as required
- Answer phones or email in a polite, courteous and professional manner
- Work closely with other departments to update account information
- Keep your area clean and organized, housekeep when needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Knowledge of multi state taxes including fuel tax and sales tax
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and a strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals
- Knowledge of Microsoft office software including word, excel, Teams, Outlook
- Ability to create letters, documents and send e-mail using the appropriate software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
Education:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in fuel or propane preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Able to sit, bend, and reach overhead as part of daily office activities
- Able to hear effectively on the phone
- Able to read documents with fine print.
- Able to use a keyboard
- Able to lift 30 pounds
