Description
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the day to day operations of the office. This includes answering phones, taking care of customers, entering tickets and cleaning.
Essential Functions of the Position:
Administrative
- Enter all tickets daily
- Order supplies as needed
- Filing
- Send emails and letters as required
Phones & Office
- Answer all phone calls
- Contact drivers as needed
- Clean office weekly
- Greet customers
- Post mail daily
Requirements
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Knowledge of phone systems
- Ability to operate office equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals
- Ability to follow established processes.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office software
- Ability to create letters, documents and send e-mail through use of appropriate software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
Education:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in agriculture environment or farm preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Able to sit, bend, and reach over head as part of daily office activities
- Able to hear effectively on phone
- Able to read documents with fine print.
- Able to use a keyboard
- Able to lift 30 pounds
