Job Description
The Controller Position is responsible for preparing financial statements, identifying, and preventing discrepancies, helping set up control systems, and maintaining accurate records. This position is ultimately accountable for the day-to-day upkeeping and management of Premier’s books. As a strong communicator and skilled financial analyst, this person will streamline our budgeting and financial reporting processes. Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs. As a management position, the controller will be responsible for leading a team of approximately six people.
Essential Functions
· Lead, Manage, and Accountability – The Controller will be responsible for leading members of the accounting team and will be responsible for providing guidance, support, and development opportunities for team members to foster a cohesive and high-performing team.
· Financial Reporting - Provide comprehensive financial updates and reports to senior managers by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data sets.
· Full Charge Bookkeeping - Ultimately, the controller will be responsible for the company books including AP, AR, reconciliations, monthly closeouts, GL adjustments, closeouts, etc.
· Process Implementation and Adherence - Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines. Alongside this, ensure accounting team is meeting or exceeding individual KPIs.
· Budget Management -Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective actions. The Controller will ensure budget is adhered to by different departments.

Pay: $150,000.00 per year with formalized bonus opportunity plan.
