Description
This role will involve the weekly compliance walks of 422 short term rental units (front and back), interface with the vendors (landscape, valet trash, pond maintenance), communicate with the Board, provide weekly update summary to the Board and approval of invoices. Violations include finalizing them and then an Administrative Assistant will send them out. This position requires certification and licensing in Community Association Management (CAM) by the State of Florida.
The role involves working closely with the Board of Directors, developers, and internal teams to manage and operate communities effectively. Strong management, customer service, and supervisory skills are essential, along with knowledge of state regulations and community documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and recommend solutions to the Board of Directors for various community issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with business groups and residents to achieve property goals.
- Develop and implement resident relations plans to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Prepare and submit accurate annual budgets and financial analyses.
- Manage resident move-ins, orientations, and ongoing relationships to ensure retention and satisfaction.
- Oversee property improvement and construction projects, ensuring completion on time and within budget.
- Network within industry organizations and maintain vendor relationships.
- Conduct meetings according to Robert’s Rules of Order and prepare management reports.
- Handle violations, work orders, and architectural control applications.
- Create and manage operating and reserve budgets, ensuring financial goals are met through effective vendor and payroll management.
- Review property financials and prepare variance analyses for management reports.
- Monitor cash flow and manage collections, escalating delinquent accounts as needed.
Requirements
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- This is a PT role - averaging around 10-15 hours per week.
- CAM License IS REQUIRED.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, regulations, and financial reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
