Key Duties and Responsibilities
As a Quality Assurance Administrator, you will:
- Ensure the integrity of manufacturing processes and adherence to quality standards
- Develop, review, evaluate, and audit manufacturing processes to meet customer quality, functionality, and reliability requirements
- Update and maintain the company's quality management plans to align with ISO 9001 Standards
- Conduct and oversee quality audits for the manufacturing floor to ensure compliance
- Implement monitoring methods to maintain consistent quality in products and processes
- Work hands-on with the production team to ensure quality processes are followed and identify opportunities for improvement
- Investigate and address defects, recurring issues, and bugs; recommend and facilitate practical solutions
- Analyze customer feedback to identify trends and drive quality enhancements
Experience and Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
- 2–5 years of quality assurance experience with a proven track record in manufacturing or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline
- Internship or Co-Op experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment is highly valued
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and collaborate across teams
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address complex quality issues
- Excellent time management skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with a proactive and decisive approach to problem-solving
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software tools
- Demonstrated ability to remain composed under pressure while maintaining a commitment to continuous improvement
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Standards
- Knowledge of Gemba, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles
- Understanding of the Kaizen business philosophy
- Willingness to travel occasionally to our Alpharetta, GA location
