We currently have a great opportunity for an Allocations Support Coordinator; responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Strictly follows established business guidelines of processes set by Customer Service management team based on guidelines/shipping standards from all accounts.
• Allocates orders that meet fill-rates expectations.
• Works closely with distribution, production and sales in order to resolve issues related to customer orders.
• Responsible for cancelling open balances.
• Runs reports to check bulk orders in the system for future production/property mark issues.
• Works with Credit Department to release credit hold customer purchase orders.
• Works closely with production in order to create HOT priority list for Distribution.
• Investigates material issues that are preventing orders to be allocated.
• Responsible for processing orders for small account structure, paper and EDI accounts.
• Resolve most issues potentially inhibiting shipping of orders based on pre-established guidelines and customer requirements.
• Able to help identify, evaluate and resolve issues prior to allocating orders.
• Cross trained for Allocations and Customer Service Order Processing
• Constant communication with warehouse Supervisors/Manager to resolve problems and give direction.
• Prioritizes outbound order flow with Distribution’s management team.
• Works closely with production when waiting for product needed to allocate orders.
• No real necessary contact with external customers except to occasionally track an order on UPS/Fed-Ex website.
People Leadership (i.e. management, motivation and development of staff as well as teamwork)
• Occasionally responsible for training new associates.
• Expected to maintain strong teamwork environment.
KPIs– Key Performance Indicators (i.e. How is success defined in this role?)
• On time and immediate allocation of customer orders.
• Customer orders are shipped on time.
• Timely communication and resolution of issues with team.
• Continually work towards meeting divisional shipping goals.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years customer service/allocations experience
• EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and order fulfilment experience.
• Wholesale experience preferred.
• RLM experience preferred
• Proficient in MS Office Word and Excel
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Interpersonal skills a must.
Salary Range: $65K-$70K *Actual base salary for this role within the above range will be based upon experience, qualifications and/or assigned unit.
