Evening Janitor Monday-Friday in Clearfield

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Execute commercial and industrial cleaning tasks using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Maintain custodial supplies and equipment; report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing cleaning duties.
• Act as a porter by managing waste disposal and recycling efforts throughout the facility.
• Respond to special cleaning requests or emergencies as they arise.

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment operation (e.g., buffers, vacuums).
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and safe environment for all facility users.

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND BE 18 OR OVER

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
