Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Warehouse Manager in daily operations, ensuring the warehouse runs efficiently and remains organized. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to operate a forklift, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in all necessary tasks.
- Operate a forklift to move and organize inventory.
- Deliver HVAC parts to job sites in a timely manner.
- Recover refrigerant from scrap HVAC units following safety guidelines.
- Scrap old HVAC units and ensure proper disposal of materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse workspace.
- Assist in receiving and stocking parts to ensure efficient operations.
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to improve warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate a forklift (certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
