The Associate Medical Director (AMD) is an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team responsible for the implementation and oversight of an integrated clinical practice delivery model. Directly supervises providers within their specialty and collaborates with the Chief Medical Officer and other Associate Medical Directors to ensure a high standard of quality care delivery across Premier Community HealthCare Group (PCHG). Provides and manages direct health care for a specified patient population. Promote the adoption of clinical innovation and best practices to support a wide variety of operational activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Through supervision and coordination with Chief Medical Officer (CMO), ensure the organization achieves all intended clinical outcomes, and demonstrates true leadership and best practices in the health care services offered.Assist CMO in the supervision of the clinical activities of medical providers directly or by delegation.Assist CMO with provider retention efforts including appropriate mentoring and on-boarding of new providers.Participates in development, implementation, and maintenance of policies, objectives, short- and long-range planning for specialty of oversight; develops tracking and evaluation programs to assist in accomplishment of established goals.Collaborate with Premier Community HealthCare Group leadership team in ongoing management planning and decision making.Collaborate with the Training and Development team to build plans for providers to deliver quality care, efficient services and exceptional customer service.Participates in clinical privileging, appointment and re-appointment of medical staffServes as back-up to Chief Medical Officer as neededCollaborates with all levels of leadership in the delivery of quality patient care, maintenance of clinical documentation, integration of electronic health records, and handling of complaints and / or medical emergencies.Responsibilities include consulting and assisting senior leadership in identifying, managing and implementing process and quality improvement strategies and projects.Develops process improvement plans which identify key issues, problems, solution approaches, performance metrics and resources required.Participates in and actively adheres to patient care expectations to attain clinical goals set forth in Premier Community HealthCare Group Health Care Plans and the Quality Improvement / Quality Assurance (QI / QA) program.Ensure all front office support meet or exceed all financial and patient services goals according to organizational policy and regulatory standards.Understand the future workforce needs and create development plans for growth. Understand capabilities and talent on team to drive organizational performance.Build talent capabilities to drive organizational performance.Promotes a diverse workforce to foster inclusiveness and a sense of purpose and belonging. Builds trust and creates a psychologically safe environment for the care team to speak up.Attend organizational events, be able to discuss ways to support giving & promote Premier. Indirectly manage and supervise non-clinical personnel as delegated.

Graduate of an approved medical schoolBoard certified or eligible in appropriate disciplineLicensed to practice medicine in the State of FloridaTen (10) years proven successful experience as a practicing clinician.Demonstrated leadership experienceExperience with healthcare information system, such as electronic health record (EHR)Experience in a multiple provider medical practiceEligible to obtain and maintain a federal and state narcotic registrationEligible for hospital privilegesObtain and maintain Epic certification / annual compliance training throughout employment.Working conditions and physical requirements :
