Senior Project Engineer
Location : Austin, TX
Occasional travel to Dallas and Spring
70-$80 / hr
We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer who will be managing a state-wide team of Designers, Engineers, and Estimators. The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for capital projects including designing and permitting.
Main Duties as Senior Project Engineer :
- Manage teams to plan and execute water and wastewater projects. These projects include rehabilitation of existing facilities and building of new facilities.
- Manage capital planning and execution.
- Manage the estimating team to ensure cost is as accurate and possible.
- Oversee prep of contract bid documents and plans, as well as coordinating with Planning & Engineering, Construction, and Operations.
- Assist in the development of annual capital improvement plans that prioritize capital projects.
- Direct the preparation of permits applications for the construction of capital projects. This will involve meetings with local officials.
- Utilize the company’s financial information system for all aspects of the project.
