Advanced Practitioner and Primary Care Physician Recruiter
We're seeking BC / BE GI Hospitalists for new employed positions at Miami Valley Hospital the area's only level-1 trauma center.
The GI Hospitalist role offers the stimulation of challenging acute-care cases, opportunities for advanced invasive procedures, and constant interaction with other physicians in a hospital setting.
In this role, you will be part of both Premier Health, one of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare systems in Southwest Ohio, and Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine. This partnership creates a dynamic environment where patient care, clinical research, and medical education intersect. As a faculty physician, you will contribute to improving patient outcomes, advancing clinical innovation, and shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. Premier Health’s expansive resources—including five inpatient hospital campuses, a broad network of urgent care centers, free-standing emergency departments, 170 physician office locations, and specialized services—combined with the academic excellence of Wright State University, offer an unparalleled platform for growth and impact in both healthcare and medical education.
Ideal candidates should :
- have an interest in acute care
- have in-depth knowledge of the diagnosis / treatment of complex GI diseases
- be proficient in all basic and emergency GI procedures (e.g., variceal and ulcer bleeding, food impactions, and volvulus) and in advanced procedures (e.g., ERCPs and complex dilations)
- possess excellent communication skills
- be adaptable and flexible for rapidly changing endoscopy needs
Opportunities exist for EMR, ESD, and EUS for appropriately trained candidates.
