Premier Health and Wright States Boonshoft School of Medicine Internal Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty physician to join our team. Our unique community-based medical school, Boonshoft School of Medicine (BSOM), is affiliated with six major teaching hospitals, two federal institutions, and over 30 other healthcare institutions. Job Summary / Basic Function : Premier Health and BSOMs General Internal Medicine division seeks an academically-minded faculty member to join the core faculty team with duties including :
- Participating in didactic teaching, journal clubs, clinical case conferences, and other teaching assignments for residents and medical students, as assigned by and in collaboration with the department and BSOMs academic leadership.
- Contributing to the divisions clinical / patient care, research, and teaching missions.
- Clinical teaching, supervision, and patient care on the divisions services, including a combination of contributions to the inpatient teaching service, to community-based clinic sites / FQHC, and within the Wright State Physicians Internal Medicine clinic.
Additional opportunities may include teaching, resident recruitment, clinical supervision, outpatient clinical practice / flexible practice options.
