What are the responsibilities and job description for the MGR-FINANCIAL ANALYSIS-PPN position at Premier Health?
The successful candidate will oversee monthly general ledger closing activities including posting monthly journal entries, account reconciliation, variance analysis and investigation, issue resolution, and will coordinate both Staff and Senior Accountants in the department.
Other responsibilities will include verifying inter-company transactions in accordance with inter-company policy and reconcile on a monthly basis; coordination of the year-end financial statement audit through the preparation of audit workpapers, respond to specific auditor requests and questions, and accumulation of financial disclosure information; participation in the year end tax audit through the preparation of tax work papers and the accumulation of tax related documents; assisting in the enhancement and implementation of process initiatives related to month-end close, financial reporting, business operation and process improvement.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a minimum of 8 years in an accounting role, and 3 years of supervisory experience for an accounting department.
Strong organization and communication skills, both oral and written, with an exemplary knowledge of computer software (specifically Excel and Word), is required. Applicants will have a sound knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and tax laws.
