The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing, accounts payable, and a basic understanding of HR practices within a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Administration:
- Process accurate and timely payroll for all staff, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including deductions, adjustments, and benefits.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
- Accounts Payable:
- Manage the accounts payable process, including invoice verification, data entry, and timely payment to vendors.
- Reconcile vendor statements and address any payment discrepancies.
- Ensure proper documentation and approvals for all payments.
- Employee Onboarding Support:
- Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, including new hire paperwork, benefits enrollment, and orientation scheduling.
- Ensure all required documentation is completed and filed accurately.
- Support HR in maintaining employee records and compliance with state and federal employment laws.
- Previous experience in payroll processing and accounts payable, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing setting.
- Knowledge of payroll systems and accounting software (experience with [insert payroll/AP software, if applicable] preferred).
