Saunders Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is in Wynnewood, PA. The staff at Saunders are dedicated to working as a professional team providing a caring and compassionate home-like environment for all residents. We are looking for a full-time Therapy Aide to help with various duties as assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation.

- Provides assistance to the Director, Therapists and Therapy Assistants.
- Completes administrative duties such as filing and copying. Files medical records promptly and accurately.
- Works with insurance authorization/verification as directed by the Rehab Director.
- Completes and maintains general organization and cleaning of the therapy room.
- Communicates in a clear, respectful, and caring manner with residents/patients, families and caregivers.
- Performs chart audits as directed by the Rehab Director.
- Transports residents/patients to and from therapy for treatment.
- Sets up and delivers resident/patient schedules to nursing unites.
- Comply with department and facility procedures, fire prevention and safety standards.
- Consistently work cooperatively with all staff and accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- One year’s experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare facility is preferred.
- Must have effective communication skills to communicate effectively with residents, visitors, and coworkers.
- Must demonstrate the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with all levels of staff. This includes having patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.
