Premier Home Health Care Services, Inc. is a leading established Home Health Care Agency . We currently have an opportunity for a Director of Field Payroll in White Plains, NY. We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to manage the day-to-day operations of the payroll department to include verification of worked hours, checking calculations, running the payroll process and associated reporting.Key Functions include : Perform timely and accurate preparation of payroll for the company via ADP Workforce Now for more than 30 multi-state branches.Ensuring 7,000 home health aides are paid timely, accurately and in compliance with state laws and company policies.Verifies that time records have been entered and imported into the payroll system accurately and timely.Set up, process, and verify off-cycle checks, bonuses, voids, and reissues.Run weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reports for multiple business units and multiple departments.Verifies that all associate action changes, bonuses, terminations, retro-pays, W-4 changes, direct deposits, garnishments and child support orders, and travel related expenses have been entered into the payroll system accurately and timely.Develops, recommends, and implements process improvements when identified.Perform and complete Quarterly and Year-End duties for accurate reporting.Make recommendations to the Payroll Director and team to help strengthen departmental controls, processes, and systems.Research, review, and respond to union requests on a daily basis.Respond in a timely manner to all forms submitted for Verification of employment.Maintain the highest standards of accuracy, precision, discretion, and confidentiality.Communicate with Office Administrators and their staff regarding payroll issues.Enter garnishments, union deductions and other adjustments.All other duties as assigned.Qualifications : Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting.In office, 5 days per week.2 - 4 years multi-state Payroll experience.ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.Understanding of local, state, and federal payroll and payroll tax laws.Ability to work independently with strong time management and organization skills, ensuring all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely every payroll cycle.Demonstrated focus on listening to and understanding internal customers.Proven capability to execute with a sense of urgency, accuracy, and partnership.Advanced knowledge of PC applications particularly Excel and other MS Office products.Solid oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated proficiency in learning applications, portals, software and websites.Premier offers a competitive salary, and benefits.EOE / M / F / D / VJob Type : Full-timePay : $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per yearBenefits include : 401(k)Health insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule : 8-hour shiftMonday to FridayEducation : Bachelor's (Required)Experience : Payroll management : 4 years (Required)Payroll processing : 4 years (Required)Seniority level : DirectorEmployment type : Full-timeJob function : Accounting / Auditing and FinanceIndustries : Health and Human Services#J-18808-Ljbffr
