Premier Home Health Care Services, Inc. is a leading established Home Health Care Agency. We currently have an opportunity available for a Human Resources Manager in New York City!
The Human Resources Manager will provide the Director of HR Operations with support, planning, project coordination, and management of activities in HR Operations, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Labor Relations, and EEOC.
Key Functions Include:
1. Communicate and administer HR policies and procedures, providing day to day guidance to Management and staff on recruitment, employee relations and all HR inquiries.
2. Manage administration of performance management processes, including annual performance reviews and assist with PIPs.
3. Generate Union Reports (Arrow System).
- Weekly Auto terms.
- Monthly Leave Terminations.
- Monthly Status Report.
4. Manage and oversee 3rd party administration of unemployment claims and provide response and representation at individual claims, and attend hearings, as well as monthly reconciliation.
5. Oversee the processing of Yellows such as status changes, terminations, promotions, demotions, and transfers.
6. Run monthly K-Checks reports to ensure compliance with regulations and address sanctions or exclusions.
7. Manage the RN compliance program to ensure RN licenses are up-to-date and monitor the completion of Annual Mandatories, Annual Health Assessments, PPD/TB Screening Questionnaires, Annual Field Evaluations, and Annual flu tracking.
8. Communicate employee status changes to appropriate departments as needed including Recruitment, Benefits, Payroll and IT.
9. Manage transfer, promotion and termination letters.
10. Process all employee information in HRIS including status changes, transfers, promotions and terminations.
11. Ensure data integrity in HRIS and personnel files by conducting monthly audits.
12. Complete the monthly and annual EEOC audits and reporting to remain compliant with government reporting.
13. Conduct branch audits for Department of Health.
14. Manage and assist with updates to Branch Listings, Employee Handbooks, job descriptions, Organizational Charts and update forms on directory when applicable.
15. Organize and conduct training including Annual Mandatories and Specialty Training.
16. Arrange on-the-job training and personal development classes for staff.
17. Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
18. Participate in various research projects and/or special projects.
19. Ensures all HIPAA requirements are adhered to.
20. Follows all Agency policies and procedures.
21. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications:
- College graduate: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Five to eight years of human resource experience in a comparably sized company.
- Experience with HRIS systems. Excel and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Exemplary customer service skills.
- Ability to provide excellent group presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
Additional Requirements:
Knowledge of all applicable federal, state and local employment laws. Thorough understanding of all DOL, ERISA, EEO and AA regulations and requirements.
