Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Consultant to join our team and drive growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to develop and execute strategic business development initiatives, establish long-term client relationships, and provide valuable insights to help our clients achieve HR and business success.
Things You Will be Doing
· Market Research & Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
· Lead Generation & Outreach: Identify and qualify potential clients, partners, or sponsors through various channels, including networking, cold outreach, and digital platforms.
· Proposal & Presentation Development: Assist in the preparation of business proposals, presentations, and sales materials tailored to prospective clients or partners.
· Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance customer retention and business growth.
· Project Coordination: Support business development initiatives, partnerships, and special projects by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring timely execution.
· Sales & Revenue Support: Assist in the development of pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and closing deals in collaboration with the sales team.
· Event & Meeting Coordination: Plan and coordinate networking events, industry conferences, and client meetings to foster relationships and business opportunities.
· CRM & Reporting: Manage customer relationship management (CRM) tools, track key performance metrics, and generate reports for leadership.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources or a related field.
· 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or consulting (experience in HR services or professional services preferred).
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders effectively.
· Proven expertise in relationship building, consultative sales, and solution-based selling
· Exceptional research and analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities.
· Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
· Ability to work independently, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
