Full time medical assistant needed.
Job Description:
Initiates patient care assessments, gathers vital signs, prepares patient and exam room for procedures, and collects specimens. Provides patient education and support as needed to assist providers, patient and family. Returns patient phone calls.
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Certfied preferred but willing to train!
Experience: Minimum of one year clinic experience in clinic setting.
Previous customer service experience preferred.
Typing, word processing, computer, and telephone skills preferred.
Additional Skills/Abilities: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Athena Clinicals experience is a bonus.
Must be detail oriented and work well in a team environment.'
