Job Summary
The Closing Coordinator plays a crucial role in the loan closing process, ensuring that all necessary documentation is prepared and executed accurately and efficiently. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks while adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies. The Closing Coordinator will work closely with loan officers, clients, and various departments to facilitate smooth transactions and maintain compliances.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review closing documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with loan officers, escrow agents, and other stakeholders to ensure timely closings.
- Locate financing for all properties, cold calling local banks in the area for new properties.
- Obtain updated rates/terms from lenders for sales.
- Maintain knowledge of FNMA guidelines, TILA regulations, and Fair Housing regulations.
- Utilize 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry and document preparation.
- Address any discrepancies or issues that arise during the closing process promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with sales reps and banks throughout the closing process.
Skills
- Proficiency in credit analysis and loan processing.
- Strong understanding of loan origination processes and documentation requirements.
- Familiarity with escrow procedures and related documentation.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
