Job Description: Sr. Commissioning/Project Engineer
Location: Clifton Park, NY
Duration: 12 Months - Onsite
**Only W2/1099 - No C2C**
Our client is seeking Sr. Commissioning/Project Engineers to support a Capital Expansion Project in Clifton Park, NY. This project involves the addition of 4 x 10,000-liter bioreactors (Delta V and Rockwell systems) and 3 new suites featuring 25,000-liter bioreactors and purification systems.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
- Translate engineering drawings into data catalogs for system mapping.
- Develop and verify user requirement specifications (URS).
- Ensure equipment and documentation meet GMP and client-specific requirements.
- Review and refine test plans for commissioning activities.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and equipment validation.
- Conduct hands-on testing and troubleshooting of bioreactors and associated systems.
Qualifications (Must-Have):
- GMP/Pharmaceutical Industry Experience.
- Engineering background in Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical, or Industrial disciplines.
- Hands-on experience with SAT/FAT processes.
- Knowledge of bioreactors and their operation.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)
- Understanding of Data Integrity principles and ALCOA (Good Documentation Practices).
- Automation experience with Delta V and/or Rockwell systems.
- Familiarity with automated manufacturing and packaging systems, PLC systems, and PC systems.
- Experience in start-up activities and troubleshooting complex systems.
