What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at Premier Orthopaedic Associates?
We are seeking a qualified Front Desk Receptionist to join our Front Desk team. Core responsibilities include:
- Provide general administrative and clerical support prepping patient charts for office visits
- Ensures all reports are in the chart prior to the office visit
- Assist the pre-certification team
- Accurately inputs patient’s information into computer
- Verifies that eligibilities, diagnostic testing, and labs are in the patient’s chart prior to being seen by physician
- Other duties as assigned by management
Required Skills & Experience
- Candidate must have a High School Diploma
- Knowledge of Medical Insurance Guidelines and requirements
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Excellent time management skills
- Medical office background experience preferred
- Multi-tasker
- Candidate should be familiar with EMR
