Role Overview:
Premier Orthopaedics is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our team at the Cape May Court House office. Whether you’re seeking part-time or full-time, this role offers the flexibility to work across multiple locations (Cape May, Cherry Hill, and Philadelphia). As a critical part of our healthcare team, you’ll collaborate with top-tier specialists, assist with diagnostics, and contribute to our patients’ comprehensive care journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Take detailed histories, perform assessments, and ensure patient needs are met with the highest quality care.
- Diagnostic Procedures: Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic tests to support comprehensive care planning.
- Collaboration: Work alongside physicians to assess, develop, and implement effective treatment plans.
- Documentation & Record Keeping: Keep accurate, up-to-date patient charts using Athena (or other EMR systems).
- Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a Physician Assistant, ideally in orthopaedics or a related field.
- Licensing: Active and unrestricted New Jersey Physician Assistant license (or eligibility to obtain).
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Bachelor’s degree required.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment, and familiarity with Athena or other EMR systems preferred.
